TEDx
TEDx was a huge honour. I shared how my journey as a positive disruptor was shaped by my father’s resilience. He was expelled from Uganda in 1972 by Idi Amin, and had to start from scratch—a lesson that became my foundation. His ability to rebuild, adapt and push forward taught me to embrace change and navigate life’s uncertainties with courage. Our heritage doesn’t have to dictate our choices, but it can empower us to create our own path with resilience and purpose.
